Program

Day 1:

Presentations and discussions on the ways anthropologists have understood and critiqued ‘change’ and ‘continuity’ past and present. Note that this day is about critical and engaged anthropology – not native title per se. Participants will received materials in advance in preparation for robust debate

Day 2:

Hands on application of Day 1 principles to native title and the writing of connection reports (bring your own materials to work on if you like).

Participation:

Open to all anthropologists working in native title. We specially welcome juniors/newcomers. Places will be limited to ensure quality discussion so book yourself in quickly. Yes, there is a small allocation of places for historians with native title experience.
